Christoph Eschenbach to become principal conductor of the Konzerthausorchester Berlin from the 2019/20 season

The world-renowned conductor Christoph Eschenbach will succeed Iván Fischer at the head of the Konzerthausorchester Berlin. He will assume the position of principal conductor of the capital orchestra for three years from the 2019/20 season. The orchestra’s quality and programme will be influenced by Iván Fischer as honorary conductor and Juraj Valčuha as first guest conductor.
